Like all cities of Northern Cyprus Bafra and Karpaz have a great historical past and many historical sites to visit. This area is mostly recognised as an eco-area of North Cyprus. The holy water from this spring helps to cures the eyes and ears diseases. Ayios Trias Basilica is striking with its antique mosaics. The Iskele Icon Museum will demonstrate for the visitors the icons of 12th century. 

The Kantara Castle famous with the picturesque and majesty view of surrounding landscape and will not remain anyone indifferent. The castle is located 700 meters above sea level. The charm and the beauty of the Castle will remind you about the time of the knights and beautiful ladies.
